This enchanting limited edition of 'The Hobbit' by The Folio Society is a perfect companion to 'The Lord of the Rings', all published in series with similar bindings. This edition sold out within 15 minutes of release. All pictures are of the book for sale, and NOT stock photos. This is a brand new, unopened copy, just as received directly from The Folio Society, which has only been removed for careful inspection to ensure the contents are fine. The book has now been placed in a layer of archival paper for protection, and the original box will be placed inside another, significantly larger box before shipping with additional padding to ensure it arrives unscathed.
A gorgeous new oversized edition of this beloved story of a humble hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who is unexpectedly swept into an epic adventure (despite adventures being "nasty disturbing uncomfortable things [... that] make you late for dinner!”).
