Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. First edition, second impression. London: Hodder and Stoughton 1974. Pp. 349. Light bumping to one corner, mild crushing to spine tips and small, one-inch tear between board and spine. Slight wear to lettering on the spine. Light foxing and marking to edges. Inscription in pen dated 1974 to FFEP and some small stains, unaffecting text, to a handful of pages, as pictured. Very mild lean to text block. Price-clipped dust wrapper slightly discoloured on spine and tanned to extremities, with some creasing and chipping to edges and little loss. Otherwise a very good copy.

The Honourable Schoolboy. First edition, first impression. London. Hodder and Stoughton 1977. Pp. 532. Light bumping to two corners, mild crushing to spine tips and darkening to extremities and spine. Significant foxing to edges, little to prelims. Uninscribed copy. Mild forward lean to text block. Unclipped dust wrapper (£4.95 net) with foxing on the inside, light discolouration to spine, some creasing, chipping and little loss. Otherwise a very good copy.

Smiley's People. First edition, first impression. London: Hodder and Stoughton 1980. Pp. 327. Light bumping to one corner, mild crushing to spine tips. A few spots of marking and foxing to edges. Uninscribed copy. Binding nice and square. Unclipped (although price not showing) dust wrapper with some chipping, a bit of wear to front panel and a tiny portion of loss to spine top, as pictured. Otherwise a very good copy.

This signed and dedicated piece of paper came as part of a large collection of letters, photographs and cards signed by prominent authors and playwriters, amassed in the 1970s and 1980s by collector Neil Walden.
