Peter Grimes: The Poor of the Borough, by George Crabbe.

London: The Folio Society, [1990]. Introduction by Kevin Crossley-Holland. 7 two-colour lithographs by Alan Powers, printed at The Senecio Press, Oxfordshire, England. Bound by Legatoria Torriani, Milan, in quarter cloth and patterned paper sides printed on Fabriano Ingres. Pale blue-green endleaves. Printed in Garamond type on Magnani mould-made paper at the Stamperia Valdonega, Verona, Italy. Typography by Martino Mardersteig. Transparent plastic dust-jacket (original missing, but replacement provided). 25x16.3cm. 80pp. Part of the Folio Press Fine Editions series.

According to the Folio 50 bibliography, "the aim of The Folio Press Fine Editions series was to produce slim volumes to the highest standard, using mould-made paper and letterpress printing, with bindings and, where appropriate, illustrations in the private press tradition."

Book in very good condition with clean edges and tightly bound, clean and uninscribed pages. Small patch of wear to front paste-down endpaper, presumably left behind after the attempted removal of a previous ex-library sticker. Original clear transparent jacket is missing, however a replacement is provided.
