A classic of British fantasy writing, Mythago Wood is often whispered of in the same breath as The King of Elfland's Daughter and Tolkien's Middle-earth. Set in the aftermath of the Second World War, Mythago Wood is a fantasy that exists within the real world; one where romance and Celtic mythology blend with the everyday and where extraordinary events occur. One of the most beloved British fantasy novels of the last 50 years, this has been fully illustrated for the first time by legendary fantasy artist John Howe, who reveals his own relationship with the novel in a new foreword and who has personally signed all 500 copies.
