All Hell Let Loose, Max Hastings. London: The Folio Society, 2022. First printing thus. 250 × 178 × 35–36 mm. 2 vols (see below). Type: Galliard with Helvetica for display. Printed by Memminger MedienCentrum. Bound by Josef Spinner in full green cloth printed in black and blocked in silver (a different design by Mark Smith for each volume); black endleaves. Grey cloth two-volume slip case titled (as above) in pale green and illustration in black by Smith. Plates reproduce photographs from the period and ten maps by John Gilkes are in each volume. The two volumes are as follows:

[1] Max Hastings, All Hell Let Loose: The World at War: 1939–45, with a new preface by the author. Pp. [i–v] vi–xxiv [xxv–xxvi], [1–3] 4–372, [1–2]: [17] leaves of plates (facing p. [iii] and between pp. 54–55, 134–135, 230–231 and 310–311).

[2] Max Hastings, All Hell Let Loose: The World at War: 1939–45. Pp. [i–v] vi–ix [x–xii], [373–375] 376–782 [783–784]: [17] leaves of plates (facing p. [iii] and between pp. 424–425, 504–505, 568–569 and 648–649).

New in publisher's original Sylvicta paper wrapping. A fine-looking copy. Please note the slipcase does feel a little tight for the two volumes which seems to be an issue for all copies that we have handled so far.
