Published by the Folio Society 2011. With an afterword by Albert Camus, translated by Joseph Laredo, introduced by Damon Galgut, illustrated by Matthew Richardson. 241 × 162 × 17 mm. Pp. [i–iv] v–xiv, [1–4] 5–102 [103–106]: [7] leaves of colour plates (facing pp. [iii], 19, 34, 50, 67, 75 and 90). Type: Garamond. Printed and bound by L.E.G.O. in full paper printed with design by Richardson. Brown endleaves. Pale brown slip case. Richardson was commissioned through winning the inaugural Book Illustration Competition, which seeks to identify and promote new talent in illustration. Winner of the Book Cover category at the 2012 V&A Illustration Awards. 

Condition

Lightest crease to the upper portion of the spine. Else a near-fine book with pages tightly bound and free of inscriptions. In equally near-fine slipcase with a little shelf-wear.
