Condition

All books are good+ condition, displaying the normal signs associated with their age. These are read books that may show signs of foxing, the odd bumped corner, some rubbing to extremities and the occasional mark. Pages are tightly bound on all volumes and internally, they are all immaculate with no previous owner's inscriptions. All are the original dust jackets (with the exception of Dr Jekyll that has a replacement to the original Folio Society plastic wrapper), and they often have chipping to head and base or small losses, as pictured. Where previously torn, the wrappers have been professionally repaired with strong, acid-free non-yellowing, transparent document repair tape, then placed in a 50-micron sleeve of archival quality to protect them for the future. These sleeves can be easily removed if required.
