Each part with an illustrated title page and different frontispiece; part one with four further engravings, while part two with one further engraving, all but one with tissue guards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall in good condition, with light wear to the corners and the leather label showing a few nicks and scratches. A slight onset of red rot is visible to the turn-ins, and there are a few small stains to the tanned edges of the text block. The pages are gently toned throughout, with the occasional thumbmark or small stain (not affecting the text). Both front and rear hinges have been reinforced with tape. Inscribed “Ann Rush April 1840” to the front blank.
