The spines are ever-so-slightly discoloured, with a few innocuous hairline scratches to the edges; else a fine set, albeit with the previous owner's initials embossed on the front cover, as offered by the Society to its members at the time. Housed in a sturdy slipcase, a little shelf-worn, particularly to the top, but otherwise very good. The set is accompanied by the original letter sent by the Society to its members detailing this brilliant set. A very rare find with few sets coming up for sale.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Sancho's Rare Books","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54411562582355,"sku":null,"price":1900.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0830\/5403\/5283\/files\/The-French-Revolution-THOMAS-CARLYLE-Folio-Society-1989-LIMITED-EDITION-Leather_27.webp?v=1785102472","url":"https:\/\/sanchosrarebooks.co.uk\/products\/the-french-revolution-thomas-carlyle-folio-society-limited-edition-1989","provider":"Sancho's Rare Books","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
