Quarter-bound in cloth with illustrated paper sides, title to spine and front cover, illustrated endpapers (the front one missing).
Similar worn condition, therefore described as a pair. Both books are worn throughout, but complete with legible text. There is significant wear externally to joints and extremities, with slight dustiness and marking to panels. Hinges are worn, but particularly so on the Mother Goose title, which is also missing its front endpaper. There is foxing, particularly to prelims of both books, however there is also light foxing, as well as thumb marks throughout. Both bindings are shaken, but no loose pages. These are complete examples (save for the missing FFEP on Mother Goose), but well loved and worn. Would still make lovely reading copies.
