A poor, ex-library copy, albeit collated as complete. Externally, there is heavy wear with some fraying at the extremities, cup ring stains and further marking to the cloth, and the lettering a tad worn, while the closed text block is darkened and foxed. The joints are worn and the front hinge is broken, with several breaks to the gutter throughout, though with no pages loose. Ex-library stamps, stickers, and previous owners' inscriptions appear on the front and rear pastedowns and free endpapers. There is heavy foxing throughout, with a few ear marks, small nicks, and tidemarks in places; else a clean copy with all text legible.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Sancho's Rare Books","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54413891961171,"sku":null,"price":185.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0830\/5403\/5283\/files\/1926-Ghost-Stories-of-an-Antiquary-M-R-JAMES-First-Edition-8th-Print-Ash-Tree_1.webp?v=1785106977","url":"https:\/\/sanchosrarebooks.co.uk\/products\/ghost-stories-of-an-antiquary-m-r-james-first-edition-eighth-impression-1926","provider":"Sancho's Rare Books","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
